Event Details

This half day course is for HCAs, Assistant Practitioners and other practice staff who would like to understand more about blood tests and their results.

Course content:

  • The uses of blood tests.
  • Types of blood tests.
  • What blood test results can indicate.
  • Giving results to patients.

A course for Nurses and Allied Health Professionals, Interpreting Blood Results, is scheduled for 20th September and can be viewed here

Dr Neema Jabbar

Neema has been the GP Clinical Lead for Essex EQUIP since October 2018 bringing her unique blend of enthusiasm and professional and academic experience into the role. She is passionate about medical education and has enjoyed carving out her career pathway to include being an associate lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University School of Medicine, clinical Professional Practice Tutor at UCL and KUMEC tutor at KCL. Neema completed her PGCert in Medical Education at Cambridge University and is facilitating more academic events requested by GPs through EQUIP.
