This workshop is ideal for practice secretaries and other practice staff, seeking to enhance their understanding of medical terminology to a higher level.  This in turn assists in the roles they carry out.

There is no requirement to attend Basic Medical Terminology before attending this course.

Course Content includes:

• A recap of information learned during the 'Introduction to Medical Terminology' session
• Further development of some of the rules relating to Medical Terminology
• Further development of the understanding of medical terms relating to the body's systems and organisation
• Latin abbreviations relating to prescribing
• Understanding some basic staging and scales

This half day session will be delivered ONLINE using Microsoft Teams.
