Event Details

A one-day course consisting of theoretical and practical learning.  Suitable for healthcare professionals who have little, or no experience in spirometry and does not include any training on reporting/interpreting results.  The training focuses on the main objectives that delegates require to perform a quality-assured spirometry trace.

It is expected that following the training delegates are supported in practice by a mentor or supervisor ideally accredited by The Association of Respiratory Technology and Physiology (ARTP) to a foundation level.

Jenny has expertise in: All respiratory care within the primary care sector Screening for Asthma and COPD (diagnostic clinics) Teaching/ Training/ Education to other health care professionals Running specialist clinics Supporting patients and their families with education on how to manage a long term condition
