About the Trainer

Joanna Lowry - RN DTN BSc Hons MFTM RCPS (Glas)

Joanna Lowry - RN DTN BSc Hons MFTM RCPS (Glas)

Joanna has worked in a range of clinical areas including specialist travel and vaccine clinics, general practice, an independent boarding school, as a sexual health nurse and as a TB nurse specialist, so is fully aware of the specific challenges these roles demand.  During the pandemic she was redeployed as a clinical lead in a mass vaccine centre and as a matron rolling out a mobile immunisation provision in a little bus.  Jo's passion is training, and she finds it a pleasure to spark an interest in preventative health care and relating to each learner individually to share knowledge.
