This course is for GPs and Nurses and is designed to provide them with the knowledge and skills needed to interpret spirometry accurately.
This training focuses on spirometry interpretation and reporting of results, paying particular attention to airflow limitation and obstructive airways disease.
There is a workbook included in the training with case studies and traces to interpret.
If you have experience in spirometry and will be expected to analyse results, this training will give you the knowledge to feel confident about using spirometry as part of the diagnostic process or for solely wanting to gain more knowledge in this area.
The course is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge to then register with the Association of Respiratory Technology and Physiology (ARTP to complete their assessment for competency onto the national register to interpret results if desired.
