This half-day course has been meticulously crafted to empower Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) and other unregistered staff with the essential knowledge and skills required for proficient ECG recording. Its primary objective is to ensure that HCAs grasp the significance of their recordings, comprehend the importance of precise lead placement, and can confidently execute ECG recording, recognising when they have achieved an accurate result.
Following the training, delegates will be provided with a competency package in ECG recording to complete in practice under the supervision of a nurse mentor.
