About

This half day COPD update is suitable for all registered staff including Practice Nurses, Nurse Associates and those who are actively involved in the care or management of patients with COPD

Course Content:

  • GOLD updates 2025 in alignment with NICE
  • Diagnosis - spirometry interpretation refresher (understanding different patterns of airflow)
  • Management - LAMA/LABA or LABA/LAMA/ICS use: exacerbation prevention, treatment and pulmonary rehabilitation
  • The complex patient

Jenny has expertise in: All respiratory care within the primary care sector Screening for Asthma and COPD (diagnostic clinics) Teaching/ Training/ Education to other health care professionals Running specialist clinics Supporting patients and their families with education on how to manage a long term condition
