This half day course is for administrative staff, HCAs, new Assistant Practitioners and any other practice staff who are beginners looking to understand more about the types and meanings of blood tests requested in primary care.
Course content:
- Introduction to blood tests used in General Practice
- Types of blood tests and what these mean
- A basic understanding of what blood test results can indicate.
- Giving results to patients- procedures to follow
