This half day update on Asthma is suitable for all registered staff including Practice Nurses, Nurse Associates and those who are actively involved in the care or management of patients with Asthma.

- Diagnosis - Differentiating asthma from other airway disease

- Management- Stepwise treatment, MART, AIR, reliever use, inhaled corticosteroid adherence

Jenny is the Nurse Lead for Essex EQUIP. She is a respiratory nurse specialist with over 20 years of experience.

Screening for Asthma and COPD (diagnostic clinics)
Teaching/ Training/ Education to other health care professionals
Running specialist clinics
Supporting patients and their families with education on how to manage a long term condition
