This half day update on Asthma is suitable for all registered staff including Practice Nurses, Nurse Associates and those who are actively involved in the care or management of patients with Asthma.

Course Content:

  • Overview of NICE/BTS/SIGN 2024 guidelines
  • Diagnosis - Differentiating asthma from other airway disease
  • FeNO
  • Management- Stepwise treatment, MART, AIR, reliever use, inhaled corticosteroid adherence
  • Exacerbations - management and treatment
  • Children - treatment and management
  • Complex cases
