This course is designed to build on delegates' existing knowledge and experience of managing cardiovascular risk factors using a variety of case studies.

The course will include case studies which attendees will use to implement evidence-based practice with respect to:

• Risk assessment beyond QRisk 2 and 3
• The management of atrial fibrillation with comorbidities
• The management of hypertension - challenging cases
• Lipid lowering strategies when statins aren't the answer
• Supporting behaviour change with motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioural therapy
